The Nuclear Regulatory Authority (NDK) has issued a new decision determining the procedures and principles for safety inspections and on-site reviews of nuclear facilities and radioactive waste facilities. The regulation defines the scope of inspections, the duties of inspection teams, and the classification of findings into Class A, B, and C based on their safety impact. It establishes a "graded approach" for regulatory control and outlines the obligations of authorized entities regarding the submission of documents, quality plans, and corrective actions for identified non-conformities.

Constitutional Court Rules on International Commercial Dispute and Corporate Liability
High court finds no violation of property rights in case involving BTA Bank and Vakıfbank
The Constitutional Court has issued a detailed judgment regarding an application by BTA Bank JSC and Fincraft Investment House JSC. The case involved a commercial dispute where Vakıfbank sought to collect a debt related to a loan guarantee, invoking the legal doctrine of "piercing the corporate veil" to hold related entities responsible. The Court examined claims regarding the validity of assignment agreements and the application of foreign law versus Turkish law. Ultimately, the Court ruled that the lower court's decision to hold the applicants jointly liable did not violate their property rights, finding the judicial process was not arbitrary and did not impose an excessive burden on the applicants.
