New Regulation for National Occupational Health and Safety Council
Ministry defines procedures, membership, and duties regarding national safety policies
The Ministry of Labour and Social Security has issued a new regulation determining the working procedures and principles of the National Occupational Health and Safety Council. The Council is established to make recommendations for determining national policies and strategies related to occupational health and safety, with the goal of preventing work accidents and diseases. Chaired by the Minister or a deputy, the Council includes representatives from various ministries, the Social Security Institution, and the three trade union confederations with the largest membership. The Council must convene at least once a year, and this new regulation repeals the previous version published in 2013,.

Amendments to Electricity Market Metering Systems Regulation
EPDK updates terms and installation rules for transmission-connected facilities
The Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) has amended the Regulation on Electricity Market Metering Systems, updating the term "relevant network operator" to "distribution network operator". For generation facilities connected to the transmission system, users are now required to supply the meters and modems for measurement points within their property limits, while TEİAŞ will handle the installation. The amendments also extend the deadline for installing specific communication units to after 1 March 2026 and push the compliance deadline for connection points to 1 January 2027.
